Liz has been a FOI Specialist for the past decade with the BC Public Service. During this time, Liz has been fortunate to work with several ministries and has developed a breadth of expertise in the interpretation and application of Canadian privacy legislation. For the past 4 years Liz has been working with the BC Prosecution Service processing FOI requests and third-party access requests. As a result, Liz has honed their knowledge of the Criminal Code of Canada and Canadian Case Law as it relates to FIPPA. Liz has had the opportunity to oversee the lifecycle of many access requests up to and including involvement with the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner.
